This pulp-horror novella drags our hero (and occasional fool) Douglas Smythe through the haunted halls of the notorious Hotel Cecil, a real place twisted through the foggy filter of the Phoenix Shaving Universe. Think haunted elevators, cursed codpieces, time-bending hijinks, and a Jack-in-the-Box with a serious attitude. Oh, and CUBE’s back. Of course.
Originally included as part of a Halloween mega bundle, this tale became the most requested re-release in PAA history after fans were left clamoring for closure. Now it returns in glorious eBook form and it even has an ending! (Not all stories in our saga can say that, folks.)
