Controversy Ea De Parfum - Patchouli, Sandalwood, Leather, Damar Resin, Rose & Tobacco Absolute
Controversy, blood red, & rich in depth - Potent, Masculine & Mysterious. This is definitely a night time scent! The interplay between the Leather and patchouli is like sniffing electricity!
Scent Profile: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Leather, Damar Resin, Rose & Tobacco Absolute.
This my friends was originally titled Bad Obsession and the brain child of my good friend Tim Blem. He wanted a Guns n Roses tribute scent to offer with his handmade brushes. It was discontinued a few years back but Tim always said if I wanted to revive it and the demand was there I was more than welcome to...that day has come. [You can stop the emails!]
I thought Controversy was a rather fitting new name for a scent based on one of the most dangerous and controversial rock bands of all time, but I also thought it needed a facelift. I felt the new Rocket Queen Alien image now adorning the label was more inline with the PAA Universe and somewhat elegant.
Do not let the addition of Patchouli frighten you off, for it is much, much more than that. The interplay between all the notes is quite lively and electrifying. A few of our testers who claimed to despise patchouli fell in love with this scent...including myself!
What makes this EDP especially pure & potent is the inclusion of Red Sandalwood chips, Dried Patchouli, Thick Tobacco Absolute and Damar Resin in which it is steeped for 6 weeks.
Damar Resin
Dammar Resin (Shorea wiesneri) from Indonesia, also known as cats-eye resin, a bright, elevating gum resin - Damar which in Malay means resin or "torch made from resin". Damar unfurls a sweet, fresh and citrus like scent when dissolved into alcohol; an alchemical wedding!
Enjoy this pure and beautiful blood red blend of animal magnetism in a bottle and Rock On!
