All this is well and good for the aftershave and soap but for the EDP I went back to the drawing board and pushed and pulled at the DNA of this epic scent just a little more.
That said, I added some very complimentary perfuming aldehydes to the blend, rounding out the fruitiness and smoothing out the bay even more!
You see, when aldehydes were first introduced over 100 years ago they triggered a revolution in perfumery. Think of them as something like ‘rocket fuel’, boosting the ‘whoosh’ of a fragrance, when you first smell it: they’re like the fizz of champagne, having the power to make a perfume truly sparkle and effervesce!
This makes for an even more sophisticated and shapely scent blend that you are really going to freak out over!
