We as wet shavers spend a ton of cash on our gear, especially brushes! To get the most out of your brush and to extend its life you need to clean it, and clean it well.

There are many ways to do this; store bought make-up brush cleaners, do it yourself concoctions, etc...all great...but I got to admit, this stuff is the best! Made with Sodium Borate (Borax) & White Vinegar this soap utilizes 2 of the most well known and time tested ingredients when it comes to breaking down soap scum and build up...then there is the unique shape of the puck. Hidden Surface Area

Looking at this puck may cause some confusion at first, I already hear you asking, "what gives Doug?" Science, my dear friend, SCIENCE! (or rather Physics, it's just fun to say SCIENCE in bold, no?)

Anyone who knows me and follows what I do, knows I talk a lot about surface area, and that's exactly what this is about. The little soap nubs provide more surface area, creating a more effective load. They also provide a non tangle application. The non tangle aspect really makes a difference for certain animal hair brushes. I could have easily poured this soap into a 5" Diameter tin but the aim was to keep this puck small and easy to store...and that's when the nubs or "fingers" came to mind. If you were to smoosh them all down the diameter would easily extend well of 5"...Surface Area.

All that said, this design provides a slicker, faster way to clean your brush making it less of a production. You could easily clean 5 brushes in under 10 minutes or the brush you just used after a shave. No muss, no fuss as they say!

Smells Like A Barbershop...

...or at least dear old dad's weekend shave! I decided to give this little wonder a classic scent and thought our homage to Aqua Velva Ice Blue, Sacre Bleu would be suitable...and it is. This truly makes cleaning your brushes a pleasure, no more chemical smell or need to crack a window...WIN!

Cures Brush Stank

My Brush Soap is also the perfect solution for curing New Brush Stank! Most of you know exactly what I'm talking about, you just picked up a new badger brush and whoa doggy it stinks to high heaven! Follow the instructions on the box for a quick fix and we'll get that brush in the game within days!

A non breakable plastic comb is also included for convenience and a resealable bag to store the puck in when its dry.

Ladies Like It Too

That's right gents, this may just be a purchase she can get behind...for you see, it works most excellently on Make-Up Brushes Too! (You're welcome.)

Instructions: Step 1- Wet Brush & Brush Soap in Warm Water. “Load” the brush clockwise in a Figure 8 Motion on the top of the soap puck. Then reverse the direction counter clockwise. Load for 10-15 seconds. Step 2- With plastic comb work wide tooth side through the bristles gently. Never force through snarls and tangles. Rinse brush under warm running water while still combing gently. Step 3 (optional) Before final rinse whip up lather in a bowl or mug. Brush Soap will not perform the same as a shave soap but the technique is the same.
