Originally released in 1938, this is the scent American soldiers were coming back to. Where Aqua Velva reminded them of war and duty, Woodhue was the scent of pure victory! That said, this accord holds up, which isn't always the case with some of the other popular scents of that time. But I'll be damned if Dino's splash doesn't still kick...ahem, well you know what I mean.
It's a total honor to revive this wonder of the ages and reintroduce it to those who missed it the first time around! I highly recommend going to youtube right now and listening to Dean Martin's "Sway", Next watch his live version of "Mambo Italiano". Sway is pretty much the musical interpretation of this fragrance, where his prowess and presence in the live performance are the physical interpretation of Black Shroud.
