First off, can you believe Juicy Fruit is now 130+ Years Old? No joke, this world famous chewing gum was first released waaaaaay back in 1893! Talk about staying power? I mean, Doc Holliday & The Earp Brothers probably chewed the stuff too!

The Origin Of Bay Gum

Personally, all I really had to do with this one was the name, but credit for the scent combo goes to Mr Dave Johnson of Fragrance Bros fame! Dave is well known for his nose and knowledge of fine fragrances! In fact, the first time we met was after a conference where I watched him speak on parfum! So that said, this might seem a little odd, if not silly for such a scent sophisticate, no? Lol, I too thought he was just kidding around when he first mentioned it but gosh darn it if he wasn't on to something!

I believe this all came about while he was wearing Atomic Age Bay Rum & chewing a stick of Juicy Fruit given to him by his son. It doesn't get that much more Reese's chocolate and peanut butter does it?  What the heck I thought and I included it in last December's Limited Holiday Advent Calendar...PEOPLE FREAKED OUT!

Soooo after the HUGE hype and fanfare suddenly around this scent, we figured we'd save it for something truly special in the coming year! Well, what could be more special than another Arizona Wet Shaver's Meet-Up?

What's Inside?

Allantoin: a naturally occurring nitrogenous compound used as a skin conditioning agent. It can be derived from animals, however the allantoin we use is derived from plants. 

Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides: from coconut oil and glycerin, it’s considered an excellent emollient. It’s included in cosmetics due to its mix of fatty acids that skin can use to resist moisture loss. This ingredient’s value for skin is made greater by the fact that it’s considered gentle.

Vegetable Glycerine: is derived from soy and is used in cosmetics and body care products to assist in retaining moisture. It is invaluable as a natural source ingredient with emollient like properties which can soften the skin.
