Now, please allow me to create the atmosphere in as few words as possible:

A warm, fragranced, tropical wind blows through moonlit, glistening, whispering palms while you slowly savor a short glass of the best rum you've ever had in your life. On this warm breeze, there is also a hint of mystery undulating in the air. The moon hangs honey like amber in the middle of the horizon, a trail of light before it slithering like a snake on the surface of the ocean.

Gentle waves can be heard but not seen from where you currently sit, lazily lapping at the shore as you people watch and sip, perched unnoticed on a corner table like a hired man absorbed in his drink, with an eye on the cyber twins in the corner, out of time, out of place, observing you, observing them, unlike yourself...out of synch.

Becoming self conscious you turn away abruptly and scan the nightclub; dimly lit, scattered, dreamy eyed strangers sway to the sultry music that slow drips from the clubs soundsystem drawing you in. Then there is that scent; sensual, exotic, divine and seductive. You turn back to the corner and the twins are gone...

 Anything is possible on a night like this, in a place like this. Anything.

This is the steamy, sensuous world of Doppelgänger Plum and the visions it evokes in my mind. For you it may be something completely different...but I doubt it. The music escaping the scene is definitely Sade's Sweetest Taboo. Trust me. (Infact humor me now and cue up Sweetest Taboo on your device for an audible version of the scent!)

That said, I need to cast a shout out to Timothy Spencer, a customer of ours, but also a complete frag head! He is the one that brought this classic to our attention and demanded something must be done in order to rectify this cruel move by Tom Ford...who would ever discontinue such a masterpiece? Really, boggles the mind! Maybe he never tried it as a shave soap. Hee, hee, hee...(but seriously, Plum is the bomb. do the kids still say that, the bomb?)

The dry down, like the opening, is just super sophisticated & smooth, dare I say boozy smooth? Warm, Spicy, Dark, Smokey, Fruity, Resinous and again, sensual. You cannot escape the balanced sensuality of it.

Fran and I are really looking forward to everyone's thoughts on Doppelgänger Plum and hope you enjoy this one as much as we have. Oh and speaking of us, I should mention...this scent is considered unisex!  Yup, meaning she's almost guaranteed to love it on you...or on her...or maybe both? We don't judge here.
