Nothing says Festive like This Cold Weather Classic, CANE!
The Holidays are once again upon us and what better way to really get into the spirits than a healthy splash of CANE! Don't be confused by the familiar stripes on the front of the bottle, there is a duality to them...as there is with most products that leave the PAA Universe. If ever there was a North Pole Barbershop Scent, Cane is it!
Granted, we did turn the peppermint all the way up but it's the dry down that is really special; Cornmint, Rose, Talc, Bergamot, Oakmoss and a touch of Vetiver! The Cornmint not only adds to a already minty top note, but also lends a mild menthol kiss! This is sure to be a holiday classic and a bottle you return to even in the warmer months. This could be considered CaD's 3rd Winter cousin thrice removed! :)

Aside from pure peppermint & cornmint essential oils, you will also find Peppermint Hydrosol, Rose Water, Glycerin, Hedione, Carrot Seed Extract, and Aloe Vera in this festive blend of winter bliss!
Peppermint Hydrosol: is a very cooling and soothing floral water. Known to calm agitated skin.
Rose Water: Rose water can be beneficial to all skin types, it can help sooth and cool sensitive and irritated skin, balance and cleanse oily skin, rejuvenate, soften and tone mature skin, and add glow to the normal skin. Rose water is filled with anti-oxidants and various vitamins, therefore, it can help nourish the skin.
Carrot Extract: Carrot Extract is high in vitamins A and E and beta carotene. It helps to soothe chapped and uncomfortable skin. It is believed to bring balance and moisture to the skin.
Hedione?
Although it has long been debated whether humans can actually communicate via pheromones - the chemical signals secreted by animals to help find a mate - Researchers have found that scent of Hedione generates ‘sex-specific activation patterns’ in the nasal tissue which links to the brain. It is the first time that a scent has been known to activate the pheromone receptor VN1R in humans.
“These results constitute compelling evidence that a pheromone effect different from normal olfactory perception indeed exists in humans,” says scent researcher Prof Hanns Hatt fro, Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany.
Hedione (chemical name methyl dihydro-jasmonate) – derived from the Greek word “hedone”, for fun, pleasure, lust – has a pleasant fresh jasmine-magnolia scent and is used in many perfumes.
It is synthesised from the organic compound methyl jasmonate which was discovered in 1957 and which is important in plants for seed germination, root growth, flowering, fruit ripening, and senescence.
