We all know Doc Holliday to be the perfect balance of Southern Gent and gun-slinging swagger, a true role model when it comes to being a Badass, no? So with that in mind, I tried my best to reflect this spirit of the West in a refreshing, citrusy, earthy, blend of pure essential oils and hydrosols. Lime, Patchouli, Mint = EPIC! Holding onto summer tight while moseying into fall!
Things aren't always what they seem...
Doc Holliday certainly shocked many a root'n toot'n cowboy in his day when he drew that 6 shooter. Many at first assumed this bookish, "lunger" dentist to be just that, an easy target. Same goes for the oils used in this homage scent. For many, at least for me, we don't naturally gravitate towards patchouli. It reminds us of a new age store and/or a 3 day festival sans showers! But this is not what Holliday is about so please, please don't judge this delicate blend by it's cover! This is some classy soap with attitude.
Holliday is a bright, sarsaparilla-esque burst of a bold, Victorian masculine scent. The type of splash to be whipped up by a pharmacist in a bustling boom town apothecary (Fun Fact: Doc's dad was a pharmacist!). The dry down is quite invigorating; lime top notes fading into this minty, gritty epicness...like nothing can go wrong and all is right as rain in the world.
Now...How DO I Use Solid Cologne?
Rub a finger across the top of the solid cologne and apply it to the pulse points & hot spots: wrists, neck, inside of elbow, behind the ears, and heart. You can also use in the beard, moustache or hair. Reapply through the day or whenever yo need a pick me up!
