What's in it?
Cucumber Seed Oil
Cucumber Seed Oil possesses a remarkable amount of phytosterols. Studies indicate that phytosterols help the skin strengthen its lipid barrier, restoring proper moisture balance, smoothing the skin’s surface and improving skin elasticity. Phytosterols are also known for their ability to nourish and stimulate the skin cells to encourage regeneration of healthy skin cells.
Prickly Pear Oil
Prickly Pear Seed Oil is one of the best skin nourishing oils available.Prickly Pear Seed Oil has a high concentration of Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and essential fatty acids (Linoleic Acid or Omega 6). This oil contains more tocopherol than any other oil available in the beauty care market (almost 150% more tocopherol than Argan oil). Tocopherols have strong antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties.
(Dimethylaminoethanol) This ingredient is a nutrient that occurs naturally in our brain, in small amounts, and facilitates the synthesis of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that helps in establishing communication between nerves and muscles, and also in carrying messages between brain cells. Acetylcholine works by sending messages to the muscles and stimulates their contraction. Because of this property, a DMAE cream has been used by some to address sagging skin.
Also known as The Beauty Mineral, it feeds the skin from inside with the most bio-available form of sulphur. It improves healthy collagen and keratin production, reduces the signs of premature ageing and maintains a healthy, youthful complexion. MSM has powerful detoxifying and anti-inflammatory benefits, strengthens the skin's support matrix and helps combat the symptoms of conditions such as eczema, acne and psoriasis.
Aloe vera can promote healthier skin. Aloe researchers also report that aloe can hydrate through three epidermal layers of the skin when used topically.
Blue Green Algae
Because blue-green algae is high in proteins and fatty acids, it attacks skin aging from two sides. First, it strengthen skin’s fibers to lift and tone. Second, the fatty acids work down deep to help shore up skin’s structure, improving elasticity and firmness.
But what about protein? Protein is made of amino acids, and amino acids are responsible for:
- constructing new skin cells and tissues,
- repairing damaged ones, and
- replacing worn-out or dead ones.
Your skin is literally made up of protein. As you slough off old skin cells, you need protein and important amino acids to grow new ones.
And this is to just name a few of the all star ingredients!
