The Scent of Rustler's Ridge is based on a seasonal summer smell I picked up on in the wind recently in Tombstone Arizona. A woodsy breeze whispering and whistling through the shudders and clap trap of the preserved "Ghost Town", kicking up dust devils and sending me back in time. A timeless, whimsical, Wild Western Scent. Aromatic and Heavenly...

Top Notes Vanilla, Ozone, Prickly Pear

Heart Notes Sage, Animalic Musk

Base Notes Spruce, Cedar

I bought this aftershave, and paired it with the Rustler's Ridge shave soap. The soap itself is something to write home about, but the aftershave I'll have to let simmer for some time. Yes, I gave it 4 stars, but to the extent of how it felt and made my skin feel after using it. This may not be my scent, but very well could be for someone else. First, the It's like an explosion went off in my grandmother's cedar closet and hit my face. There is a sweetness about the aftershave that I don't appreciate, but then it turns a corner into a subtle spice-like quality that lasts all day. If you enjoy vanilla and cedar, then this is the stuff for you. (just not me) The soap is much different, and may be due to the kokum butter. Enjoy!
